Attractions:

Moss Lake is a wonderful family lake for boating and fishing. A favorite area for fishermen at all skill levels, Moss Lake is the site of local fishing tournaments as well as secret fishing holes that only frequent visitors or those that are lucky enough to live here know about.

The City of Gainesville provides two boat ramps the north boat ramp has a beach area for public access, the rest of the shoreline is all privately owned.

Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating jet skiing and exploring the area. It's rarely crowded, so go have fun, it's what Moss Lake and lake living is all about!

Moss Lake is also known for great stargazing, since it is far away from the city lights. Wildlife is abundant at Moss Lake, you'll be taken in by the natural beauty that surrounds you all year long.

There are no camping areas available at this lake, but there are cabin rentals available if you would like to try out lake living before you buy.
